Musical Instrument Drive - Eagle Scout Service Drive

Do you have a musical instrument, for either band or orchestra, that you have been meaning to donate to a great cause? For his Eagle Scout service project, Good Samaritan youth Martin Kulstad has taken on the project of obtaining instruments for Sanford Middle School in south Minneapolis, where there is great need for instruments in good condition. Ninety out of 100 students rent instruments from the school and many of these instruments are almost 50 years old. Please consider this the time to pass on music to the next generation. Martin will be happy to pick up your instrument and deliver it to the school for you. You can email Martin at martin.kulstad@gmail.com. He and his fellow scouts are hoping to make many young musicians very happy as school begins this fall.

Hey, College Students - Let's Keep In Touch

Good Sam wants to keep in touch while you're away at school. Please submit yor e-mail address to jean@good.org. We will be offering reunions and various events throughout the year and during school breaks. We also want to hear from you about what you would like and need from your home church family. Stay tuned for a youth group alumni discussion board.

Men's Hoops

Good Samaritan Men's Open Basketball has returned! Join us on Sunday evenings at 8pm. Bring $2 each time and your "A" game, and come have some fun. No age limits! Contact davidredpath@hartfordlife.com if you have any questions.

Good Samaritan's Ministry With Youth Extends Beyond High School Graduation

Good Samaritan continues its ministry to youth long after they have graduated from high school. Good Samaritan keeps in touch with their college students through care packages and various special events and reunions. In order to continue a ministry to this age group, we need their postal and e-mail addresses. If you are a post-high school Good Sam alum, please contact Jean Elliott at jean@good.org.
